Dear Stonegate Families,

 

It is with great joy, gratitude, and heartfelt enthusiasm that I welcome you to a new school year! Having now had the privilege of serving as the proud principal of Stonegate Elementary for one year, I am more inspired than ever by this vibrant, caring school community—one that remains steadfastly dedicated to providing every student with a high-quality education in every class, every day.

 

Looking back on this past year, I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome and incredible partnerships we have built. Looking ahead, I am truly excited for many more years to come at Stonegate—serving our wonderful students, supporting our outstanding staff, and partnering closely with all of you.

As a proud United States Navy Veteran, I continue to draw on a strong sense of service, integrity, and commitment. Having worked in education since 2007 across a variety of roles—elementary teacher, program specialist for Migrant Education, teacher-in-charge, vice principal, and school principal—I am entering my seventh year in school leadership just as passionate about this work as I was on day one.

 

At Stonegate Elementary, we are more than just a learning community—we are a family. Together, we will continue sustaining high expectations, maintaining a strong and engaging academic program, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment where every student can thrive. We remain committed to building strong character through our core values: positive attitude, respect, responsibility, integrity, and empathy—our "Lion Character."
